Belmont Edmonton Real Estate

Located in the Clareview area of Edmonton is the neighbourhood of Belmont. According to the federal census in 2001, he first residences in Belmont were constructed as early as 1912, but the majority of residential construction happened during the 1970s, when 63.5% of residences were constructed, and the 1990s when 22.4% were constructed. According to another census done in 2005, the most common residence type is single-family dwelling, which make up 44% of all Belmont residences. Another 28% is made up of duplexes, 15% is row housing and low-rise apartment buildings. A total of 71% of residences are owner-occupied, with 29% being rented. The two neighbourhood schools are Belmont Elementary School, which operates under the Edmonton Public School System, and St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Elementary Junior High School, which operates under the Edmonton Catholic School System.
