Cloverdale Edmonton Real Estate

The neighbourhood of Cloverdale is located in central Edmonton. Cloverdale is home to the Muttart Conservatory, as well as Gallagher Park – which hosts the Edmonton Fold Music Festival every summer – and the Edmonton Ski Club. The first homes in Cloverdale were built before 1946, according to the 2001 federal census, making up 18.4% of homes in Cloverdale. Another 20.4% were constructed between 1946 and 1960. Construction in Cloverdale ceased from that point on until 1986, and between 1986 and 1990, 14.3% of homes in Cloverdale were built. After 1990 is when 46.9% of homes in the neighbourhood were built. According to the 2005 municipal census, single-family homes are the most common, and make up 47% of all homes in Cloverdale. Another 36% is comprised of low-rise apartment-style condominiums, and the last 16% is comprise of row houses. A total of 86% of homes are owner-occupied.
